I generally stay at this place when stopping in the Central Valley on my way to the Sierra.

It’s a nice place for $69 a night
This was my first visit to Madera so I don’t know what the other hotels are like to compare it to. So for $69 a night it’s a nice place. The Madera Valley Inn staff is well qualified to greet a family or a business group. When a guest arrives and you open the the front door, you immediately face a great waiting room.
