What a dump.

The fact that all the other hotels/motels in town were all sold out and the Mermaid still had plenty of rooms should have given me a clue. The place is a dump. We booked a room at the Mermaid Inn for our son's graduation from Stanford. We booked months in advance. Resident Manager needs to look into her attitude
We would NEVER think of staying there every again. We gave the property a chance because of the price, location and its convenience to my daughter's home in Menlo Park, as we truly only needed a place to sleep.
