Worst Night Ever

My family and I stayed at your Red Lion Inn Hotel (Modesto) this last Sat. (Jan. 20, 2007) night, and it was our worst stay ever at a hotel! You and your staff should be ashamed of yourselves. The room was little musty smelling, but that was not the real problem. NOT a 3 star hotel....

Used Hotwire this time, indicating we wanted a 3 star property for a one night stay in Modesto. What we got for our 3 star money was a 1 or 2 star lodging experience. Lobby area was nice, and both desk clerks we encountered during our brief stay were courteous. On check in my son and I were assigned a room with a king bed on the back side of the property, away from the indoor pool, but we requested two beds.
