Although this place is clean and slightly better than the El Dorado Inn (two kinds of juice for breakfast, slightly larger rooms), I would really go for the'Dorado anytime. more on VirtualTourist

This is a delightful location, walking distance to Old Town Monterey and restaurants. It is less than a five minute drive to Cannery Row and all the fun spots.

In the future, I will either select another time of the year to visit Monterey, or book way in advance. The rooms were very dingy and were in very much need of repair. We found mold in the shower and had to request ... more on Yahoo! Travel
