To be honest and up-front - We are owners of (now) 2 weeks at Newport Coast Villas. Please factor that into your view of my comments. Overall Picture: We own 4 weeks of Marriott timeshare, 2 weeks in Newport, 1 week at Grande Vista, Orlando, and 1 week at Manor Club in Williamsburgh, VA. As East Coast residents, Newport Coast Villas represent an amazing oasis on the West Coast, where we have been visiting for the past 4 summers. The location is ideal: Perched on the hills overlooking the Pacific, surrounded by an unobtrusive golf course (Pelican Hills), and an unobstructed view of the coast from 70% of the villas. 5.0: Top-notch timeshare villa property!

I would really give this place about 4.5 stars...however, the only other timeshare I might prefer is in Carmel. Other than that this is the NICEST property we've seen!
