Hesitant to make the reservation but...
A bit hesitant to make the decision about this place coming from cloudy and rainy England but we gave in anyway. If you're 50+--ick; If you're 20-40, you'll like it
Our Room was priced between $325-400. For this we got: The Good Eclectic set of toiletries was high end. Eastern king-size bed was nice vs. Calif king (but probably put there to make the room look wider since it was quite narrow). Ceiling wallpaper was lovely. Great food. Cool atmosphere, nice spa, pool - great service.
Showed up at The Parker without really knowing anything about it. Was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely a throwback to the swinging sixties (I expected Sean Connery's 007 to show up at any moment). The design is very cool and the service is great.
