Old Fashioned wants Better

Caveat Emtour. Certain room amenities are left out in online info, paper adds and when you call. If you want the romantic & relaxing Jacuzzi tub or 4 post bed and settle for a Spectacular “Whitewater” room with "Disabilities Access" you give that up . You might be informed of this when you call. If you see an internet special entitled to one of the "Whitewater" rooms that have the best ocean views and amenities for a better price. Make clear that special is what you want. Know the ... Second trip, loved it a second time

We went there on our anniversary in 12/2005 and again this spring in 04/2007, both trips were wonderful & romantic. You don't need the fancy suites or the Spectacular Whitewater room. A simple room with a fireplace, jacuzzi and deck is all you need to enjoy this inn. The staff is nice, but its easy to mainly avoid them all together as they have a late-check-in possibility that is great if you're coming up at the last minute and arrive after 9pm. The overall feeling is that of an INN, not a Hotel or a B&B. --There are more rooms than some inns but they still have the small vibe, however you're not in some one's house and definitely don't get breakfast served to you in bed. The grounds have neat statues, totem poles and art to check out, but the main beauty lies just steps away at the coast line,. (*room choice*) The first time we asked for a cheap Hillside Room, but I think that we were upgraded without notice because we had almost a full ocean view, nearly the same place as this time where we requested an Ocean Splendor room. (*amenities*) The fireplace is really nice and romantic, they provide plenty of logs to burn so there are no ... musical_vegan, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on tripadvisor
