not the friendliest of folks

Good for Point Reyes

Of all the places we have stayed in the Point Reyes area (Inverness Lodge, Blackthorne Inn, Golden Hinde, Point Reyes Seashore Lodge), the Point Reyes Station Inn is my favorite. Private luxury...with pets allowed!

Escaped the heat of the valley at Pt. Reyes Station Inn this July. The inn is run by a pleasant couple who have the Garden Room available for people with pets (no extra charge for well behaved pets). Probably better than most in the area

My experience is that inns/B&B establishments in the Pt Reyes area tend to be overpriced, often resulting in higher customer expectations that are often not met. We were mostly satisfied with our stay at the Pt Reyes Station inn, given the premium you have to pay just to stay anywhere in the area... parisencore, a user of Tripadvisor.
