Even though you're in the wilds of Los Angeles exurbia, here in Rancho Cucamonga (San Bernadino county), you won't lack for nearby shops if you run out of something or need a way to kill time in an air-conditioned place. The hotel is set among two others on the same access road. Across the busy main road is Ontario Mills mall, with several upscale outlet stores, a zillion movie theatres, a food court, and so on. Great Place to Stay in a Booming Area

I stayed at the HGI in Rancho Cucamonga/Ontario for a week while on business. I stayed at an HGI in Tampa earlier this year, and the positive experience I had there helped put this on my list for future stays anywhere. I had wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn Express nearby because I had a ton of Priority Club points to build on, but there was no room at the inn. Waaaaaa! The hotel is set back from 4th Street, between Milliken and I-15, right across from the Ontario Mills Mall and two movie theaters.
