Dont even think about it
The view was beautiful but doesnt make up for what a dump this place is. The room is gross. They advertised air conditioning but it didnt work. We were there during a slight heat wave so we had to open the patio door which had no screens to keep the bugs out. Only windows in bedroom were tiny and... edonaray, a user of Yahoo! Travel. Price is all for Location
We paid around $330 + tax for a one night stay at the Villa Del Mar Inn. The Inn is actually a converted apartment. No real front desk or lobby (you check in at another inn down the block, no one to call upon after 8pm.) The furniture, linens, and rug are dreadfully cheap. There is no working air... Horrible!!! Stay Away!!!!

What a horrendous dump!! The only thing going for it was the view/location. The rooms stunk of body odor, broken and run-down furniture, the electrical outlets didn't work, no heating, wall paper pealing off the walls, bathroom so disgusting we wore our flip flops in the shower! The Villa Del Mar Inn is a great place to stay

We have returned every summer for several years now. We love the location of this condo. The down falls are the noisy gate on the side of the building that gets slammed every night from guests coming up from the beach to their rooms, and the train whistle in the middle of the night.
