Great San Diego Secret

I don't think even a lot of San Diego locals know that several of the old Victorian homes were moved to this charming little park as downtown grew. Will go back!

Beautiful, relaxing, romantic. We will certainly go back. Everyone was so helpful, suggesting restuarants and things to do, even making us reservations and procuring a free dessert for us. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Park Inn. It definitely was not what I was expected but it was quaint and full of character. We didn't stay in this B&B altho it is quite lovely from the exterior. These victorians were saved in an area called Heritage Park right next to Old Town San Diego. The day was perfectly sunny with a cool breeze off the clearly visible Pacific Ocean. The room was spacious, clean, and romantic. We arrived early and were quickly accomodated by the very gracious innkeepers who checked us in with no hassle.
