We stayed 2 nights here, and stayed in the "Kid's 2-Bedroom Suite"... conveniences were nice with a room with full kitchen, nice living room, and fun kid's bedroom. There are about 100 hotels in the "Hotel Circle" area of Mission Valley. The Residence Inn, unlike the others around it, is a little back off the main road, and we felt like we scored the best hotel in the area because of it's secluded feel.
