Me and my wife stayed in Surfer Beach Hotel for few days. I can say just compliments to this hotel. Price was around 100 USD for both and it was great experience for us to live for few days on the Californian Beach. The Surfer is Perfect for Us
The negative reviews must be from people who only stay at the fancy joints; what do they expect for $100 a night? Actually, this place is just exactly what we like: A clean room right on the beach with a great view from the patio (get a room on the 4th floor), and close to all sorts of beach bars... lesbriggs, a user of Tripadvisor.
