Except for the bar called "the beach", which is pretty cool but overpriced, there was nothing great about the hotel or its location. There are better hotels closer to the Gaslamp, Little Italy. My daughter liked the decor of the hotel.

The people at the front desk, the bell hop, and the conceige were great and very helpful. The people at the bar in the lobby were horrible. The waitress ignored us for 15 minutes. Fun but a little Bizarre

1. Great rooms. Very clean, crisp, and different. Nouveau. Not necessarily our first choice, but we liked it. Different. I could have lived without the techno-dance club music looping through the CD system upon entrance to our Room. Club music pumped in elevators, everywhere but floor hallways. 2...
