This small hotel offers French style courtesy and celebrated cuisine in a welcoming package. The building, built in 1910, is fully restored and the decor is reminiscent of the owner's, native city of Orleans, France. The couple, Claude and Micheline Lambert, has owned and operated the hotel since 1978 and have contributed so much to San Francisco's Franco American community that in 1994 the mayor named July 13, the day before Bastille Day, \"Claude and Micheline Lambert Day.\" more on Yahoo! It was rather small (made me wonder what size a standard room would be like) and plain, but clean and comfortable, and it had most amenities a regular traveler would need. more on VirtualTourist
