They don't ask you if you want a smoking or non-smoking room when you check in. When you request to be switched to a non-smoking room, they said "No!" and will not give a refund. Well, it's a good location if you're going to spend a lot of time at Ocean Beach. It's right there, and very handy. Also good if you don't plan on spending much time in the room. There's nothing great about the "'Great' Highway Inn" in San Francisco. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying there. Reasons why: 1. I had a room on the second floor.
