My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Santa Monica at the Pier for four days while we attended a wedding in SM. I chose the hotel because of it's location to the wedding site, restaurants and the beach. Over all, the hotel was above average and a good choice for the money. We walked to everything, including the pier, promenade, restaurants and the beach. We did take a cab once to the wedding (since I was wearing heels) at the Casa Del Mar Hotel (wow!$!$).
