Out of the crowds, this is a great place to relax and enjoy the beach then walk the few blocks to the Promenade for dinner or drinks. This was our second stay at the Oceana. Before remodel found it overpriced and noisy. After remodel...the same. Ocean view room is on the front where the main view is the street, the grass and trees and in the distance the ocean. Forget it if you want to hear waves and surf. 3.0: Nice Place but Disappointed

Room could have been in better repair. Sound transmission (feet and plumbing) from other rooms was considerable; thankfuly I am an early riser.
