This place so bad that I would not even let my dog stay here!! I reserved a Non-Smoking 1 Queen Bed and what I got was far from it!! Worst Hotel on our entire trip of California - Free Plungers for every room
We decided to try a "walk in" booking for our stop in Monterey. Good place to stay for a weekend
We spend the weekend in Seaside and spend one night at the Sand Castle Inn. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good (you can make your own fresh waffles). Directions
From San Francisco-Take Highway 101 South to Highway 156 then travel West to Highway 1 and proceed South to Seaside. After arriving in Seaside, take the Fremont Street exit and turn left onto Fremont Street. Proceed for three blocks until the La Playa Street intersection then turn right on La Playa Street and drive for about a block. The Sand Castle Inn will be on the right side of the street. . From Sacramento-Take Highway 80 West to Interstate 680, then South to Highway 101. Go South to Highway 156, then West to Highway 1 and travel south to Seaside. After arriving in Seaside, take the Fremont Street exit and turn left onto Fremont Street. Proceed for three blocks until the La Playa Street intersection then turn right on La Playa Street and drive for about a block. The Sand Castle Inn will be on the right side of the street. . From Los Angeles-Take Highway 101 North to Salinas then take Highway 68 West to the Monterey Peninsula from Salinas. After you arrive in Monterey take Highway 1 North to Seaside. After you arrive in Seaside, take the Fremont Street exit and turn right onto Fremont Street.
