The place has no A/C which for my summer visit was not good. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the room and I was told I would be charged for two days if I left. 4th of July overnighter to see the fireworks

After a side trip through the nearby ravaged Avalon Fire area to see what we could learn about defensible areas, we soon arrived at the Avalon Lodge for a one night stay.
