If you stay here be very careful of the non-smoking policy. Seriously, the contract you sigh allows them to arbitrarily charge your credit card $50.00 per day if they think you smoked in your room. Reasonably priced, good for a short stay

We stayed in Lake Tahoe for only two nights for a friend's wedding. We flew into Reno on Saturday morning and drove the beautiful and scenic route into Lake Tahoe. It is breathtaking, especially coming from a flat city like Chicago. Since our stay was in October, and it was already starting to get chilly, we weren't certain what to expect. The Inn by the Lake is directly across the road from Lake Tahoe, which would be a tremendous advantage during the summer months, as many other hotels, motels, and ...
