Would stay again!
I did some research online and the location plus low rates led me to the Franciscan. We were towing a motorcycle on a trailer, so I needed extra parking. And I wanted to be near King's beach where we had booked an early round of golf. The Franciscan delivered at about $121/night including tax. We booked room 48 which was the room furthest from the highway away from the lake. We thought that it would be quiet and it was pretty quiet but not totally. There is a street about 40 yards away that gets some traffic too, so you won't be totally silent. Nice Tahoe experience
We've stayed at the Franciscan during a spring skiing trip each of the last two years. Especially at the off-season rates we paid, the Franciscan is a good bargain.
