Having had a good experience at Tahoma Meadows, we wanted to try another TripAdvisor highly rated place in Tahoma. We chose Alder cabin because Sarah told us it was the far back on the property and would be very quiet. Tranquility in Tahoma...

My family and I (myself, wife and 3 year old daughter) decided to take a last-minute trip to Lake Tahoe and wanted to stay on the less-commerical, rustic West Shore of the lake. Warm and cozy

This place was very nice and cozy, kind of rough around the edges but we liked it. Like the first reviewer, we stayed in the Aspen Cabin which was very nice. Cozy Cabins near Homewood

Tahoma Lodge is one of the few places in the west shore that allows dogs and had a reservation available for pres. day weekend. Sarah, the host, was very nice and courteous.
