The Pier and the Homeless

The Crown in Ventura was great and the people were the best. The homeless that live on the Ventura Pier were agressive and nasty. Across from our room was the parking garage the hotel was using temporairly during its rennovation. We saw a drug deal going down on the roof across the way one mornin... A Yahoo! Ok, so we checked in quite late after a drive from Las Vegas, we found a CD to help you relax, ear plugs and an eye mask and scent to put on your pillow, all very inviting you may think, but about 2.30am we realised why, the hotel is situated next to the Amtrak main line, and approx 3 times a nig... keith750cc, a user of virtualtourist.com. For a dog show, yes...

This hotel can be described in terms of what it is not. It was not built facing the right direction: the ocean-view rooms face up and down the coast- not toward the actual ocean- meaning that you can see the ocean if you stand at just the right angle.
