I was only coming in for the weekend to visit my boyfriend who is in the Marines. It was a great hotel to be able to relax and kick back. The room was excellent. We made the mistake of not making reservations and found all good hotels in Oceanside/Carlsbad were booked. The lower priced hotels were too small, old or smelly.
