One of the oldest places to stay in Yosemite National Park is the historic Wawona Hotel. Just four miles from the park's south entrance, the Wawona is great for travelers looking to escape the crowds that usually inhabit the Yosemite Village area. On the hotel's historic grounds, guests can golf, horseback ride, cross-country ski or snowshoe, but one of the most popular ways to pass some time at the Wawona is sipping on a cocktail and enjoying the scenery from one of the many Adirondack chairs that line the hotels verandas.

Would love to return with family and friends I reserved three rooms without a problem, all with private bathrooms rooms were clean and secure we had no problems with bears during our stay more on Yahoo! Travel
