The staff was briskly efficient, though I did get the impression we irritated the caretakers with our 7:30 pm arrival due to storms in the mountain pass. more on TripAdvisor

The town of Basalt has grown a lot in the 20yrs since my husband last visited though I can assure you, well worth visiting, lots of character, charm, galleries & a terrific Fly Fishing shop. more on TripAdvisor
