- Nothing was too much trouble to make your stay comfortable, with sue even going into town to get a replacement watch battery for more on Tripadvisor

- had great coffee (locally roasted I was told) while owner carl (who goes by chef bubba) smoked sausage outside on the grill! wha more on Tripadvisor
- Loved the offer of beer and wine are in the lobby fridge, just leave a little something if you feel like it more on Tripadvisor

- new rooms are very nice, good beds, every convenience: robes, frig, micro, no tv, cards, magazines, coffee more on Tripadvisor
- two new rooms (one with a king, one with a queen) at the room at the river (used to be called meister house), which more on Tripadvisor
