Close to Mesa Verde -- Average stay
You could not beat the closeness of the hotel to Mesa Verde. With the pool, hot tub and deluxe continential breakfast, it was probably one of the best hotels in the area. If you are looking for better than average rooms, you will want to stay in Durango. The rooms were dated and the air conditioner somewhat noisy. If you're familiar with Choice Hotels, this is your average Comfort Inn. Our room (n/s king) was spacious and reasonably comfortable.
