The rooms, although a wee bit dated, are neat, clean and a great value for the price. more on TripAdvisor

We went back and got our things and were able to get a much nicer motel in Cortez for the same price. more on TripAdvisor

On the other hand, Dolores is probably a nicer place to stay than Cortez if you're going to Cortez, the beds were very comfy and the staff genuinely friendly and helpful, and a fully-equipped kitchen ... more on TripAdvisor
