Somewhat disappointed

We arrived for a 3 night stay at the end of July. We had booked a loft room w/view. Our first impression of the room was not good; terrible odor in kitchen, curtains hanging off the rod and stifling hot. Come to find out the resort has no A/C! Don't Stay Here
I read reviews on Trip Advisor of bad experiences at Cascade Village, but was assured by the booking agent that those were only the disgruntled customers and good experiences weren't shared. Needs maintenance!
First of all, the view is fantastic! We liked the floor plan, grounds, and staff. The pool was nice. We had no need for air conditioning. The problem is with the maintenance of the unit. Wonderful Stay

Cascade Village Resort - Great for Families!!!!
I stayed at Cascade Village with my family, wife & 2 teenage kids. We are from Dallas, Texas.. Flew to Durango direct on American Airlines (using miles accumulated from work travel).
