Did we stay at McGregor???

My wife and I have been in Estes before and upon planning for our latest trip came to TripAdvisor for advice. The reviews of McGregor were outstanding, so we picked it as our destination when staying in Estes this last time around. After our week long visit we are wondering if we stayed in the right place, because our experience was nothing like what others have said (save a couple of reviews).
