The Texan resort is a warm, welcoming place nestled high up in the mountains. The staff is nice and accomodating, the cabins are clean and comfortable. Lake City is a wonderful place for families, with lots to do and see. Or not. ... more on Yahoo! Travel

Our only displeasure with the Texan is the "new" owner - we had not been to Lake City in about 5 ys., and staying at the Texan was not what is used ... more on Yahoo! Travel
