Don't Stay Here

Telluride was a great place to stay and the scenery was amazing but.... we drove 6 hours to get to the hotel and we had a dog next door that was barking ALL night. You won't find lodging in Telluride at these prices, but don't expect a swanky hotel either. Good points: Room was clean. Bed was okay. If you stay at Mountain Side Inn, get your room reservation in writing. Our room that we booked on the river was given away. They gave us a parking lot room instead.
