Service at the front desk is gracious and accommodating, and the view of the Spanish Peaks /Sangre de Cristos at dawn is breathtaking. more on TripAdvisor

So several years ago we decided to try Rio Cucharas and have been happy with the quality of the rooms for the price, as well as the free breakfast and the friendliness of the people running the motel. more on TripAdvisor

-room was dirty i.e. hairs in tub, food on carpet under edge of bed -decor dated and in general disrepair -TV barely worked and got few channels -no one at front desk at check-in time initially and no ... more on TripAdvisor

Very poor management ! Manager stocking feet , shirt out , hair uncombed , looked drunk or on drugs , large dog in lobby jumping on us ,lobby dirty . NO THANKS we didn't stay . Looks like ... more on TripAdvisor

These other reviews turned us off on this motel, however, we called another motel and because they were full, they recommended Rio Cucharas Inn as they said it had been remodeled and looked really nic ... more on TripAdvisor
