Great stay for a week

The Candlewood Suites Meriden- Hartford was very nice. Easy to find right on East Main st. Meriden near a lot of stores and restraunts. The room had a fully equiped kitchen, and was very spacious. Decent room, good amenities, fine value

Candlewood caters to the extended stay niche of the hotel market and as such, does not fit the usual star rating system. It offers a decent room and do-it-yourself service. We stay here frequently. The renovated rooms are lovely with leather chairs and new kitchen floors. Internet access is free, which is a big bonus for us because we're frequently visiting for part leisure and part business. We like the ability to cook our own meals and the fridge.
