Pleasant weekend
We had a large and comfortable suite. Having peeked into other rooms, we could see that each has a unique theme. The Inn was within walking distance from restaurants, theater and shore points, and had quick access from the main highway. There was lots to do in the area. We enjoyed the full breakf... Dirty, tacky and extremely disappointing!
We were interested in staying at a charming inn, close to Yale. It was a busy weekend and most accommodations were booked. We were able to book the Four Gables on a cancellation. Not what it should be!!!
The Inn is alright. It is a great place to stay if your daughter/son attends Yale, but other than that it is not worth your money. It is located in a neighborhood so you have to travel by car for any activities. It is not on the water-the pictures on the website are misleading. The service was ok... We have been coming to this bed and breakfast for the past 3 or so years we can afford to go any other place at any time however this Inn has been our peace our mind, cleansing medicine, with no disturbances that you find in large hotels.
