Simply delightful
I came to Simsbury for a family reunion and had about 7 groups of families stay at this Inn for the weekend. We all had a wonderful experience with the room quality, maid service, and management. I must say, I have heard a few negative remarks about the Iron Horse Inn, however, since the new management took over in Feb of 2007, my stay has been quite comfortable and relaxing...I travel to Simsbury often this hotel is convient and fairly priced. Great Improvments!
My family of 5 stayed here for 6 nights and we have a great experience with the new staff. I visited alone 3 months back and it has improved greatly since then. Terrible hotel
The hotel had only a twin bed and a double bed even though two queen beds were requested. The shower had only cold water. one faucet on the bathroom sink did not work. the balcony was roped off, but it overlooked a covered pool that looked like a swamp so no one would ever want to sit out there. ... patriciae3, a user of Tripadvisor.
