Disappointed, more like an old motel in the front

I strongly agree with several previous reviewers. (June 19, 2007, Jan 30 2007, October 30, 2006 and Jan 4, 2006). I disagree with Jan 4, 2007 review, perhaps that person (savvyone from Rye, NY) stayed in the newer section). I would not stay here again, not at the $169 base price for a room in the old section in the front (street side). Like others, I chose the Westport based on location; we were attending a function in Fairfield that would continue until the late in the evening. I expected a lovely hotel because of the attractive Website, the property location in Westport, calls itself an "Inn", and ... fjpanda, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on tripadvisor
