We live about a mile from this inn. Whenever we've had out-of-town guests, we've made reservations for them to stay at the Amelia Hotel. This is a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. I had a second floor room with a balcony, and had a view of the beach, though there were buildings in between. My family stayed here recently in an oceanview suite on the 2nd story. The room was large and clean, as was the rest of the hotel (save for the carpets which are in dire need of replacing!). I stayed here with my boyfriend and we were disappointed with this hotel. We paid extra for the "ocean view" but we couldn't see much of the ocean-- it's across the street and there are a couple of buildings in the way!! My husband and I stayed there for two nights. The bed was hard as a brick and the fitted sheet did not have any elastic in it so it kept coming off the bed all night.
