Carpet was dirty, TV didn't work well and radio didn't work at all. Self service washers and dryers were dirty and dryer wasn't hot enough to dry clothes without 2 tries. I stayed at the Best Western on Amelia Island,FLA, for two nights in July. At 7:30 a.m. I heard a lot of noise outside of my room, the hotel was installing a new roof on a walkway to the pool. We were directed to the Best Western from the chains guide. It was terrible - The rooms are old and worn, and smell of cigarettes. Late at night coming back we were not comfortable with the parking lot safety with some rather drunk fishermen hanging outside our room. Unless you really need a deal... Me and 2 friends met here for a girls weekend and had a great time! We each have small dogs and so we brought them all along as well! The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.
