For a first timer to Bed and Breakfast lodging, the 1735 was an excellent choice. We stayed in the Admiral Suite. Wakening up to a view overlooking the ocean waves was wonderful. Great location on the beach but our bedroom in Captain's Suite was on the busy (sometimes noisy) road side. Rooms are comfortable but cramped if you have a party of more than 2. Needs a thorough cleaning, if allergic to dust you’ll have a real problem. Worst value for $$ I’ve had in B&Bs, apparently no attention has been given to detail for some time. Nice beach getaway -- low key and quiet
We stayed in the Admiral Suite for our anniversary. It has a small livingroom and kitchen (microwave, fridge, and coffee maker), as well as bedroom. Everything was nice and comfortable.
