Avoid like the BUBONIC PLAGUE

Wow...just wow. It has been about 4 months since I stayed at this place, and I'm still angry. The marketing team at Summer Bay is VERY deceptive. They intentionally created a deceptive ad and placed it on Hotels.com. They make it seem as if you're booking a room at the nice resort, when in fact you're booking the roach motel across the street. Stay away for your helath!!!

Ok, so we purchased a vacation package through Westgate Resorts and in turn we "Paid" for our "Gift" - a 3 night stay in Orlando. That should of been our first clue... Who pays for a freaking gift??? Us dummies obviously. Anyway, Westgate Resorts are the real dummies here. Instead of our "paid for" gift being in a Westgate Resort they gave us a certificate for our "Getaway". It was a certificate via "Millenium Travel" who booked us at Summer Bay Resorts via their "Welcome Center". No one could confirm our reservations until the Friday before we were to arrive and we were already out of pocket nearly $300 after the initial $99 purchase, the $50 Deposit, $65 Surcharges and additional Certified & Priority Mailing Fees (7.25x4).
