It's gone - no loss

Cheap and convenient Hotel
Stayed at the Terrace Inn in Feb for 2 nights. Very well located for access to Miami and South Beach. The Metrorail is a 5-minute walk to the University stop ($1.25 exact change). Perfectly decent retro little motel!
Okay, the Terrace Inn's *not* the Ritz. It was probably once a Howard Johnson's many decades ago... and the furnishings and the linens aren't the newest things in the world. But it was clean, had a pleasant restaurant/neighborhood bar right next door, was convenient to MetroRail, Sunset Place mal... A TripAdvisor Member, a user of Tripadvisor. Do not call this hotel for a reservation!! I called to inquire about one room for one night and the first and only response I got was "NO WE DON'T". When I asked him if he wanted to know what date I was arriving, he cut me off and said "NO WE DON'T" before I could get the rest of my sentence out.... A TripAdvisor Member, a user of Tripadvisor.
