Laid Back Crystal River
We have been to Crystal Area a few times and always stayed somewhere else. This time we brought our boat and the Best Western has a ramp on the property and docking for guests, so we decided to stay there. They also allow dogs and that is a plus for us. OK, but NOT a resort
We stayed here for one night because there are very few hotels in this area, and this one seemed to be the most decent choice. The rooms are old and small, but pretty clean. Our stay at the Best Western,Crystal River was Ok with a couple of things keeping it from being great.The room was fine, no problems there.We had a boat with us and a couple of employees were rude about where we had to park it on our arrival. Convenient for the Manatee trip
We stayed here for one night in April, 2004 because we were taking a Manatee Snorkel trip the next morning from a company called Birds Underwater Centre which is practically next door. Not so hot
The room seemed old, dull and was not fresh at all. One set of lamps was so hard to turn on we had to pad our pressing finger with a towel or something.
