Myself and my team of 8 firefighters/EMT's from all over the USA responded with FEMA to Delray beach after hurricane wilma hit the region in 2005. There is nothing like the Seagate!!! We go for a month every summer....at about half the cost of renting a place at the Carolina beaches for a week. We arrived 2 days after the hurricane, and wernt sure if we should cancel. This is the first time in west palm, and it is the only place we will stay from now on. Nice hotel and one of the better on that strip for beach access. Convenient to downtown Delray Beach (ten minute walk). Service was very average both in the hotel and the restaurant.
