We stayed in a one bedroom condo in the Pilot House in the village. It was nice and exceeded our expectations. We had a washing machine and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Just got back from Sandestin Golf and Beach resort, stayed at the Luau Tower 1. It is a new condo/hotel and is was very nice. The grounds are well kept and the views are beautiful. We just returned from a wonderful vacation in Sandestin. We stayed at the Sandestin Golf and Beach resort in the Luau I which was beachside. Our family consisted of 4 adults and two children. terrible experience

This place was a disaster. Arrived at 4pm checkin , room not ready. come back at 6 (end of checkin), room still not ready. Finally in room, air conditioner does not work . We've stayed at the Village of Baytowne Wharf twice now and would be happy to do it again some day. These units are on the bay side of hwy 98, so if you want a beachside room you should probably look elsewhere.
