Comfort Suites
What a deal! I selected Comfort Suites because of the reasonable rates (around $100/night) and the fact that it was, I thought, relatively close to the beach. Was I surprised when we got to our room and opened the drapes to find this fantastic ocean view! Granted there is a vacant lot in between ... gawildcats, a user of Tripadvisor. The hotel appears to be nice. Just opened in Sept-06.....don't let the outward appearance of the hotel or the "preview" of the room fool you! Nice surprise; very comfortable, great location
We went to Amelia Island as a last mintue getaway and didn't know what to expect. We did some online hotel research but didn't book in advance, we drove by to see each property before deciding, and I'm glad we chose this one. This is a brand new hotel, 1 block from the beach. Comfort Suites is a new hotel with 50 rooms, located at Fletcher and Atlantic Avenue on Amelia Island. Nice accomodations, friendly staff, with brand new rooms and furnishings. NO smoking! NO pets!
