Great Motel - only problem was the plumbing

This motel is in a suburban area and at least a twenty minute walk from the beach. We arrived at 10am, knowing that check in was 4pm but just wanted to leave the car there so that we could walk to the water taxi stop at Shooters. The guy on the front desk was really pleasant and friendly and immediately checked to see if he had a room that he could allocate for us there and then, but unfortunately there was'nt one free.
