Quiet and separated from the most active areas of Ft. Lauderdale, North Beach is long and very natural, with nothing built on the beach for miles. At the northern end is Birch State Park, where vegetation has been left to take over and you can enjoy nature hikes, canoe trips and picnicking. The underground pathway beneath the road provides a safe option for coming and going.
